Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 6 : If things go according to plans, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan would lend his ''face and voice'' to promote Kerala Tourism.

Kerala Home and Tourism Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had already sent an invitation to the Shehanshah of Bollywood, offering him the brand ambassadorship of Kerala Tourism.

I have sent an invitation to the veteran actor and am waiting for his reply,'' he told UNI.

Asked why the Kerala Government chose the ''Big B'' as the brand ambassador, he said ''I happened to see an interview by the veteran actor expressing his willingness to become the brand ambassador of Kerala Tourism and so we decided to invite him.'' --UNI
