 EAST HAM: Drishyakala,the drama wing of the Malayalee Association of the UK,is staging its 19th drama RAAJA SABHA on March 20th 2010 at Plashet School, East Ham London E6 at 6.00 pm.
The drama is by the eminent Malayalam playwright Shri. Ibrahim Vengara,a recipient of many covetable Academy,State and National Awards.
Directed by Baldwin Simon(Babu),the drama is the fruit of more than a year's worth of hard work and dedication by a group of drama lovers. The theme of the play is based on the resilience of Kerala's rich cultural heritage that encompasses the diversity of various religions and cultures so harmoniously.
It dramatically depicts how the incessant power of evil ultimately fails in destroying the healthy fabric of love and brotherhood that binds a people together. The play very powerfully re-enforces the age-old truth that religion is a good servant but a bad master.
